Suchi Saria selected as Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow

Suchi Saria, a member of the MINDS faculty, was recently selected as a 2018 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow in Computer Science.

Saria is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and also a member of the Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare.

The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation awards 126 fellowships each year to young researchers based on their potential to make substantial contributions to their fields.

Last year, Saria was named to MIT’s “35 Innovators Under 35” for her work building next generation diagnostic and treatment-planning tools for health care.
